Mancini starts with 4-3-1-2 Inter

Inter adopted a 4-3-1-2 system in Roberto Mancini’s first training session, using Rodrigo Palacio behind Daniel Osvaldo and Mauro Icardi.

The Coach replaced Walter Mazzarri on Friday and met the team after today’s Press conference.

It had been predicted he would scrap Mazzarri’s 3-5-2 tactics and the first tactical exercises seemed to suggest that will be the case.

Reports say he set Inter out in a 4-3-1-2 line-up with Dodo at left-back.

Palacio was placed as the ‘trequartista’ behind Osvaldo and Icardi.

Much of the squad is away on international duty, so a clearer idea of what team will line up against Milan next Sunday will emerge over the next few days.

Inter: Carrizo; Nagatomo, Vidic, Juan Jesus, Dodó; Obi, M'Vila, Guarin; Palacio; Icardi, Osvaldo
