Donadoni’s future has been the subject of speculation after Parma were mauled 7-0 by Juventus” data-scaytid=”7″>Juventus on their last Serie A outing, and the club’s woes deepened yesterday after reports that the Ducali would face a points deduction.

Having already been excluded from the Europa League for non-payment of tax, the Tardini side reportedly missed a deadline to pay players' salaries and will therefore be docked points.

Former striker Crespo was a legend at Parma during his playing days, and is now in charge of the club’s youth setup.

Seen as one of the front-runners for the top job at the club should Donadoni be relieved of his duties, the Argentinian admits that he would not turn down the job were it to be offered.

“I hope that Roberto [Donadoni] keeps Parma up and stays until the end of the season,” Crespo insisted to Corriere della Sera.

“Then I know I’d be in pole position to take over in June.

“But if the club asked me for my help during the season I wouldn’t shy away from it.

“I’m ready. Even the current economic situation at the club doesn’t worry me, I’ve been here for years and I know everything about this place.”
