Dries Mertens is back in Napoli training after being knocked unconscious, while there is also good news for Lorenzo Insigne.
The Belgian winger was left with concussion, severe dizziness and at one stage couldn’t even feel his legs after a horrific clash of heads in the Euro 2016 qualifier with Wales last week.
He resumed training today and posted a message on Twitter and Instagram.
“What a great feeling to be back on a football field! I want to thank all the people who helped me in the hospital in Jette and Naples, also all the people who sent messages. Thank you for your support.
“Now what counts is getting on the pitch as soon as possible to help my team Napoli.”
Meanwhile, today Napoli forward Insigne also had a check-up after knee ligament surgery.
It was a positive response, the stitches were removed and he will now begin rehabilitation.
Insigne is expected to be out of action or five months.
