Italy Coach Antonio Conte was pleased with Zdenek Zeman’s “hard-working culture” after visiting Cagliari.

The tactician is continuing his tour of all the Serie A clubs to speak with staff, directors and players.

“I had a great impression of Cagliari, not just the team, but also their organisation and infrastructure. I’ve seen they work well and that is very important,” Conte told Sky Sport Italia.

“Mind you, Zeman is a guarantee when it comes to ensuring a hard-working culture, as that is one of his greatest strengths.

“I like Zeman’s football, as he demands work from everyone to support the attack and favours constant pressing.

“We are tracking Luca Rossettini and Marco Sau, but also their four Under-21 internationals.

“We are trying to put together all the components of Italian football during this difficult moment. We are talking and exchanging ideas on issues that involve everyone.”

Conte visited Palermo yesterday and confessed he asked Paulo Dybala to forego Argentina to play for Italy.

“Unfortunately, I was unable to convince him.”
