“I miss scoring goals, as I am paid to score, but right now it is more important for me that the team wins,” La Trenza told Sky Sport Italia.

“Now I hope my ankle heals properly so that I can do better. I’ve not been well for a long time, but am trying to do my best for the team. I have to focus on getting fit and then the goals will certainly come.”

Inter are still without a Serie A victory since Mancini replaced Walter Mazzarri.

“Of course it’s natural that a new Coach will change things,” noted Palacio.

“Can we get third place? It’ll be difficult now, as we are pretty far behind, but we just have to take it one game at a time and pick up points.”
