Today a Press conference was called to explain the situation, but has now been put back from 17.00 GMT to 18.45 GMT.

This is to allow all the parties to reach the Stadio Tardini after an intensive day of negotiations in Milan and Brescia.

It’s reported that lawyer Fabio Giordano – who brokered the sale – will become President for three months or until a new figurehead is found.

Doca could still remain as Vice-President with current director general Pietro Leonardi remaining in his position.

The investors buying Parma are believed to be 80 per cent Cypriot and 20 per cent Russian.
