Ivan Strinic is on the verge of completing his Napoli switch after passing a medical today, but the club takes issue with reports over Juan Zuniga.

The Croatian, who will be moving in on a free transfer pending the expiry of his contract with Dnipro on January 1, flew into Italy and is reported by ANSA and Gianluca Di Marzio’s site as having passed medical tests at Castelvolturno.

The Croatian, who will be moving in on a free transfer pending the expiry of his contract with Dnipro on January 1, flew into Italy and is reported by ANSA and Gianluca Di Marzio’s site as having passed medical tests at Castelvolturno.

Meanwhile, the club have taken issue with some of the reports surrounding the condition of Juan Zuniga's knee issue, releasing a statement on the matter.

“Regarding the Press sources that claimed medical examinations carried out for Napoli players were seen by doctors external to the Azzurro club or by third parties, SSC Napoli wishes to specify that all medical information relative to its players is covered by privacy and therefore cannot be seen by anyone.”
