Livorno, Catania and Latina sacked their Coaches to bring in Ezio Gelain, Dario Marcolin and Mark Iuliano.
Serie B is on its winter break and took the opportunity to make some changes at managerial level.
This weekend Livorno pulled the plug on Carmine Gautieri and handed the reins to Gelain, their current youth team Coach.
As expected, Catania formalised the dismissal of Maurizio Pellegrino – who returns to the youth team – to hire Marcolin.
He had already worked with the Sicilian club as assistant manager to Sinisa Mihajlovic in 2009-10.
Pellegrino had been a temporary assignment after Giuseppe Sannino tended his resignation last month. Catania are third from bottom with just 21 points from 21 games.
Meanwhile, Latina seem set to fire Roberto Breda, who himself had replaced Mario Beretta in Week 8, and give the squad to Iuliano.
Ex-Juventus and Italy defender Iuliano is currently Coach of the Latina youth team.
