Roma director Walter Sabatini and Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani were in touch yesterday to discuss the loan of Mattia Destro, according to reports.

The club from the capital is increasingly reported as considering offloading or exchanging the player during this transfer window.

Milan's reputed offer of an initial loan had already been defined a few days ago, and reports are that yesterday contact was made between Sabatini and Galliani to discuss it through.

The duo's movements are reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport today as indicative of closer positions between the two clubs for a deal.

Reportedly both of the directors have also met with Destro's agent Claudio Vigorelli to help define the terms of the move.

Sky Sport Italia were suggesting in reports late on Thursday that negotiations between the clubs also included a possible swap deal involving Giampaolo Pazzini.

The Gazzetta suggest that Pazzini must first be sold this month before the Rossoneri are able to complete any move for Destro.
