Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini admits Roma are ‘strong’, but promises that his team will ‘score twice anyway’.
The Giallorossi are currently sitting three points behind Juventus and will be looking to close that gap in tomorrow's game against Palermo, to be played at the Renzo Barbera.
However the Rosanero’s President has warned that his team won't make for an easy opponent.
“They're strong, but my team is tough,” said Zamparini in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss.
“We'll see if our defence can hold together, but we're going to score two goals against Roma anyway.”
Napoli are being linked with Palermo striker Paulo Dybala, but Zamparini ruled out the option.
“[Napoli President Aurelio] De Laurentiis can forget a Cavani 2.0.
“As for [Ezequiel] Munoz, I don't think he's ready for a big team.
“He's an excellent player from the physical point of view and he's developing, but he still lacks the right levels of concentration to play on the big stage.”
The President of the Sicilian club also spoke in favour of goal-line technology.
“It would be stupid not to apply it.”
