It’s reported Atletico Madrid have given Cristiano Rodriguez permission to hold talks with Parma.
Sky Sport Italia claim the winger is flying out to Italy on Monday for advanced negotiations and to undergo a medical.
The two clubs have already agreed basic terms for the 29-year-old Uruguayan’s transfer.
It would be a real boost for Parma, who are bottom of the Serie A table and under new ownership.
‘El Cebolla’ Rodriguez holds an Italian passport, so would be able to register as an EU player.
