Sampdoria have sold goalkeeper Junior Da Costa to Bologna and signed Alberto Frison from Catania.

The Blucerchiati confirmed the two transfers this evening.

Da Costa has joined Serie B side Bologna on a permanent move, having played 67 games for Sampdoria since arriving in 2010.

Samp already have a replacement lined up, as Frison has been bought from Catania.

He will be their third choice goalkeeper, as the club already has Argentina international Sergio Romero and Emiliano Viviano.
