This morning’s Tuttosport repeats the line that Destro is unsure over accepting a loan deal, which could see him return to Stadio Olimpico in the summer.

It’s thought that Milan’s offer includes a right to redeem Destro in the summer, rather than an obligation, and the player would prefer not to have to return to Rome and start trying to find a new team from scratch.

The newspaper reports that this is the only thing holding up the deal, with the Italian international having agreed to a contract with the Diavolo.

The contract is thought to be worth €2.5m per season, plus bonuses, and would run until 2020.

The Turin-based sports daily expects Destro to agree to the move, with confirmation expected some time today.

The Corriere dello Sport believes that a deal has already been reached, declaring on its front page today that the player has said ‘yes’ to Milan.
