It’s reported Samuel Eto’o will be back in Sampdoria training tomorrow after patching things up with Sinisa Mihajlovic.

Sky Sport Italia suggest President Massimo Ferrero was able to smooth the situation and Eto’o pledged to be at work tomorrow morning.

"Nothing happened," assured Ferrero on TV show Tiki-Taka late Monday night. "He just asked for some time off."

The striker had stormed out following this morning’s session, which was meant the be only the first of two, and drove to Milan to see his family.

Monday was originally meant to be a day off for the squad, but was cancelled as punishment for a 5-1 defeat to Torino.

“In order to have a row, you need two people and quite frankly Eto’o did everything himself,” Miha told Sport Mediaset and La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He just left. He told the club and it is certainly a grave lack of respect towards me and the entire team. I don’t know what the club intends to do. That is the only truth of the matter.”
