Udinese confirmed they are “trying to find the best solution” for Antonio Di Natale after an offer from New York.

The striker had originally announced his retirement last season, but was talked into taking another year in Serie A.

Now it seems the 37-year-old has more plans to keep on playing in America, as it’s widely reported he received a proposal from a club in New York.

It may well be Cosmos rather than MLS side New York Red Bulls, who play in the second division NASL and can count on Raul.

“We’ll let them work. They are trying to find the best solution for Di Natale,” Udinese director of sport told Sport Mediaset.

Di Natale has reportedly decided not to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the season.

The American offer is believed to be worth €8m over two years.
