Bari acknowledge they are waiting for Antonio Cassano to “make a lifestyle choice” on his next club.
FantAntonio is a free agent after terminating his contract with Parma by mutual consent due to six months of unpaid wages.
He has received a proposal from his hometown club Bari, who are now in Serie B, where he started his career from 1999 to 2001.
“Cassano is no longer the lad we knew 15 years ago,” explained Bari President Gianluca Paparesta.

“He must make a lifestyle choice and is therefore evaluating things. We will respect any decision he makes, whether it’s to come here or go elsewhere.
“Just having the opportunity to bring him to Bari is gratifying enough. Let’s leave the man Antonio Cassano and his family to decide in peace.
“Don’t forget this isn’t just any city, so he and his loved ones wouldn’t really be free to walk around as much as in other places.
“The club has done all it could. We weren’t given a time-frame for the decision.”
