Inter Coach Roberto Mancini sees his team going 'all the way' in the Europa League, even though it will be a 'long and difficult' path.
The Nerazzurri are one of five Italian teams who will be representing Serie A in tomorrow's EL Round of 32, and will be up against Celtic.
Like his fellow Italian Coaches, Mancio has seen the competition as an important part of their season and their best opportunity for silverware.
“This tournament is very important and difficult, there are some very high-profile teams,” he said in today's Press conference.
“We're hoping to go all the way, for many reasons. But now we must focus on this game, it's hard to think of the final.
“There are still four rounds before that point, and it's going to be very long.
“We must concentrate on this match and do our best to progress, then we'll see as we go along.
“But yes, we want to go all the way, that's everyone's hope."
Mancini was also asked what differences playing against an English team would make.
“It's going to be a whole other game from the championship.
“We'll be fighting against a very physical team and we'll have to respond on the same level.
“We'll choose our formation tomorrow, we're still recovering from last Sunday.
“But there's the chance we may change formations.
“The match against Celtic is going to be important for the team's development, but I don't think it will change our approach too much as we have to keep improving game by game.
“Tomorrow's game is going to be unlike the others in that everything will be decided in 180 minutes.
“We'll have to be clever and show a good grasp of the situations. But in general we will look to improve.”
