Andrea Stramaccioni has received public backing from Udinese President Gianpaolo Pozzo, amidst rumours of an ultimatum.
There was speculation that a failure to beat in-form Torino on Sunday could see the former Inter Coach relieved of his duties, but the Zebrette President has backed the tactician.
“In relation to the press reports of alleged ‘ultimatum’ from the President to the Coach Andrea Stramaccioni, Gianpaolo Pozzo explains that there is no ultimatum,” a statement declared on the club’s official website.
“I haven’t spoken to anyone, and journalistic speculation published does not correspond to my thoughts in any way.”
