Lothar Matthäus says Lukas Podolski’s form means he will not return to Inter after the summer, when his loan expires.
The German forward is on loan from Arsenal, but the Nerazzurri have no redemption clause, apparently at the behest of the player himself.
However, his compatriot, himself a former Beneamata star says he doubts the club would want him anyway.
“Inter are not totally satisfied with Lukas’ performances,” Matthäus informed Bild.
“I’d have hoped he’d do better.
“At the end of the season I think he’ll have to pack up and leave Inter this summer, unless something changes dramatically.”
