Roma winger Gervinho admits ‘the Scudetto is gone’, and says other teams have not taken advantage of the Lupi’s poor form.
Rudi Garcia’s men have won just three Serie A games since the turn of the year, and are now 14 points behind Juventus, though they remain in second place.
“We’ve drawn a lot of matches, and lost some others, but we’re still second,” told Afrique Foot.
“Our opponents haven’t taken advantage of our decline, just as we haven’t taken advantages of some missteps by Juventus.
“Our goal is to qualify for the Champions League, the Scudetto is gone.
“We’ve been through some difficult times because of all the draws, but these things happen. Apart from that I’m fine with the club and the city.”
