Juan Manuel Iturbe’s agent warns Roma “don’t understand him and there are some very good offers from England.”
The forward is still 21 years old and the Giallorossi paid €22m to sign him from Hellas Verona last summer, beating competition from Juventus, Milan and Inter.
However, representative Gustavo Mascardi’s comments on Gazzetta TV suggest his experience at the Olimpico could end after just one season.
“He is a Roma player. Iturbe is a champion who had a difficult campaign due to injuries.
“The Roma technical staff don’t understand him and did not put their faith in him. He hasn’t played from the start many times at all.
“Could he leave? There are some very good offers from England for him. It depends on the lad and the club to decide what they’ll do at the end of the season.”
Iturbe has scored just three goals in 27 games for Roma between Serie A, the Champions League, Europa League and Coppa Italia.
He had been linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal before signing for the Giallorossi.
