Andrea Stramaccioni concedes Udinese “got it all wrong” in their defeat to Parma, while the club takes action.

The Friulani were beaten 1-0 at the Stadio Tardini in the rescheduled Serie A Week 24 game.

“It’s difficult to comment on this match, as we had been unbeaten in four rounds,” Coach Stramaccioni told Sky Sport Italia.

“We weren’t the usual Udinese today. We got it all wrong and weren’t as aggressive or determined as usual.

“It’s difficult to comment on this match, as we had been unbeaten in four rounds,” Coach Stramaccioni told Sky Sport Italia.

“We weren’t the usual Udinese today. We got it all wrong and weren’t as aggressive or determined as usual.

“We could’ve gone in front on a few occasions, but were not clinical enough. Parma did well to score and make the most of their advantage by defending in an organised fashion.

“Let’s put this defeat quickly behind us and prove against Palermo that it was just a blip. This was a difficult tie to prepare for, as the players might’ve thought it was easy considering Parma’s situation. We are all very disappointed.”

Udinese director Cristiano Giaretta was more than just disappointed and ordered the team into a training retreat from this evening.
