Lukas Podolski projects that he will leave Inter and be back at Arsenal in the summer, where he is confident he'll have first team chances again.
The Polish-born German international joined Il Biscione on loan in the winter transfer window as part of an effort to raise the team out of its current crisis.
However, with no goals and an increasingly reduced playing time, he is already looking forward to a return to the Gunners.
“I think I'll have the opportunity of playing as a starter when I go back to Arsenal,” said the striker, in an interview with Sportsmail.
“I still have one year in my contract, so we'll see what happens. At Arsenal I lived two beautiful seasons, scoring many goals and producing many assists.
“This year things didn't go as well and for this reason I decided to change teams, but now I feel ready.”
