Inter will move for Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela this summer, according to reports in Italy.
The Argentinian winger has struggled in the English Premier League since moving from Roma for around €30m in 2013.
It was thought that Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetic was the Nerazzurri’s priority, but Calciomercato believes the club is waiting to see whether any potential replacement for Manuel Pellegrini would find more space for the Montenegrin.
The website reports that Coach Roberto Mancini has given his backing to a move for Lamela, whom the club had been looking at for some time.
The site states that the Beneamata’s offer will be an initial loan deal, with a mandatory redemption clause inserted into the deal.
The 23-year-old has four goals and six assists in all competitions this season.
