Antonio Cassano gave a typically forthright interview insulting most of Serie A, Brazil, Dubai, America and Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The 32-year-old striker is a free agent after terminating his contract with Parma due to unpaid wages, several months before the club went bankrupt.

“I took two months off, but I do miss football,” FantAntonio told Rai Sport show Dribbling.

“I’d like to come back in the summer. Of course I’d love another opportunity at Sampdoria, but I don’t think it’s possible.

“I’d like to come back in the summer. Of course I’d love another opportunity at Sampdoria, but I don’t think it’s possible.

“They told me that they’re looking for defenders. Maybe I’ll have to adapt! I’d also like to play for Monaco, seeing as the city is close to Genoa.

“I received offers from Brazil, Dubai and America, but real football is only played in Europe.

“Mind you, Italian football has become so poor that even my grandfather could play in it. I think Juventus will win the Scudetto for the next 10 years at this rate.”

Cassano was asked about the chaotic 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where he is reported to have clashed with Coach Cesare Prandelli.

“It’s not true that I argued with Prandelli and Gigi Buffon. In fact, for me Prandelli would be the ideal choice to substitute Mihajlovic at Sampdoria.”

It should be noted that Mihajlovic has not confirmed whether he’s leaving the Blucerchiati.
