With Sinisa Mihajlovic seemingly off to Napoli, Sampdoria are looking to Walter Zenga for next season.
Today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport is confident that Mihajlovic will be the next Coach at the Stadio San Paolo to replace Rafa Benitez.
With that in mind, the Blucerchiati must find themselves a new boss for the 2015-16 campaign.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, President Massimo Ferrero has chosen Zenga.
The former goalkeeper has had a many and varied management career in several different countries, including the USA, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Dubai.
Linked with the Inter job last year, his only Serie A coaching experiences are at Catania and a very brief spell with Palermo.
Other options for Sampdoria include current Parma boss Roberto Donadoni, Empoli’s Maurizio Sarri and Palermo Coach Giuseppe Iachini.
