Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta isn’t sure whether Sunday’s game with Sassuolo will be Antonio Di Natale’s last at Friuli.
The Italian international was expected to leave the club at the end of the season, but later indicated that he may have changed his mind.
“In agreement with Toto, we want to keep things quiet until the end of the season,” Giaretta revealed, speaking to Tuttomercatoweb.
“He’ll go on holiday, and will let us know his decision. At Udinese we’ve already expressed that we want to continue with him.
“The final decision will be down to Toto.”
The 37-year-old 223 goals in 420 games for the Zebrette, including 18 this season.
Giaretta also revealed the Simone Scuffet could leave the club on loan next season, with the promising goalkeeper struggling for playing time.
“Scuffet is a very talented player, and he needs to play. We’ll sit down with him and find the best solution.
“It’s not impossible that he could go on loan for a year.”
