“I saw the team looking sharp in training. We want to end on a high in our own stadium,” said the Coach in a Press conference.

“We want to be up to the level of the celebration our fans are preparing. I will field the line-up I consider to be the best.”

Despite relegation and bankruptcy, the Parma supporters are going to stage festivities around the Stadio Tardini for the final home game of the season – possibly the last ever.

“We can only thank our fans. I am told there will be a surprise at the Tardini tomorrow that I really want to enjoy, but nothing will be taken for granted.

“We paid a heavy price for all this and still don’t know where it will take us.”

So far all the auctions to buy up Parma have gone by without any offers, but that was expected, as every time the price-tag is reduced.

“I cannot even think of the eventuality this club could disappear,” added Donadoni.

“There does seem to be interest in buying up the club.”
