Roma are on the verge of selling striker Gervinho to Al Jazira for around €13m with a huge pay rise.
It has been reported for several days that the Giallorossi are listening to an offer from the UAE club.
Director of sport Walter Sabatini is said to have met with Al Jazira representatives in London and agreed a basic €13m transfer fee.
Sky Sport Italia and Il Tempo newspaper suggest President Ammar Bashir will fly in to Rome today for final negotiations and to agree personal terms.
Ivory Coast international Gervinho can expect to have his current wages at least doubled.
He struggled with injury after the Africa Cup of Nations and managed only two goals in 24 Serie A games this season.
