Juventus will play pre-season friendlies with Marseille and Borussia Dortmund, the club has announced.

The Bianconeri are on holiday after defeat in Saturday’s Champions League final, but have announced the work will begin again on July 16.

“Massimiliano Allegri and his backroom staff will welcome back the non-international contingent on the Thursday,” a statement on the club’s website revealed.

“Those who were involved with their respective nations in friendlies, qualifiers and the Copa America are expected to return on 20 July.

“Supporters will not have to wait long to see the Bianconeri in action as the first exhibition match, against Borussia Dortmund, is set to take place at FC St. Gallen’s AFG Arena on Saturday 25 July in Switzerland.

“Seven days later, Allegri’s charges will travel to the south of France and face Ligue 1 outfit Marseille at the Stade Velodrome.”
