“We hope to give the announcement tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. He’d make up a dream partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”

Milan are spending big on the transfer market this summer after years of austerity thanks to the influx of new cash from Thai investor Bee Taechaubol.

Mr Bee agreed to buy out 48 per cent of the club from President Silvio Berlusconi for a reported €500m.
