Both Nuovo Parma Calcio S.r.l. and Magico Parma FC S.p.A have provided the requisite information to begin talks by the midnight deadline on Friday.

The Ducali were declared bankrupt in March and allowed to complete the Serie A season under administration.

In five auctions there was not a single official bid, so the bankruptcy court gave the all-clear for private negotiations.

Only two proposals have been put forward, one by Baseball legend Mike Piazza and the other from multiplex mogul Giovanni Corrado.

Both of them have handed in the paperwork, financial guarantees and a €900,000 deposit to enter into negotiations.

Parma must find a new owner and pay off the sporting debt of approximately €22m before June 30 in order to register for the 2015-16 Serie B season.

If not, the club will cease to exist and have to begin again from Serie D.
