Udinese are preparing a swoop for Manchester City’s Swedish striker John Guidetti.
The 23-year-old came up through the City academy with a series of loan spells to the likes of Burnley, Feyenoord, Stoke City and Celtic.
His contract is due to expire at the end of this month, so he will be a free agent.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Udinese have set their sights on the centre-forward.
As the name would suggest, Guidetti has Italian origins and had already been close to joining Siena some years ago.
