Juventus could reportedly sacrifice Arturo Vidal to Arsenal in order to get Bayern Munich defender Medhi Benatia.
There were suggestions in the Spanish media this week that Juve had already sold Vidal to another European club, but would not reveal who it was until after the Copa America.
According to La Stampa newspaper, Chile international Vidal is heading to Arsenal for approximately €30m (£21.2m).
The Corriere dello Sport considers him to be a necessary sacrifice in order to secure centre-back Benatia from Bayern Munich.
He only made the move from Roma a year ago, so Bayern have placed a price-tag worth €25m on the Moroccan defender.
Cash can also be raised by selling Angelo Ogbonna, as he has interest from Premier League sides Southampton, Aston Villa and West Ham United.
