Giannelli Imbula’s father clarified it was not Inter that “made me want to throw up,” but rather their intermediaries.
The former Olympique Marseille midfielder made the move to Porto instead, when he appeared to have a €19m deal with the Nerazzurri.
“Their whole set-up makes me want to throw up. They only woke up when they heard Porto were interested in him,” Willy Ndangi told the Journal du Dimanche newspaper in France.

“Their intermediaries sent me messages containing threats.”
Imbula’s father was contacted by Telelombardia and asked to clarify those remarkable comments.
“I never said Inter made me sick, but I was referring to the intermediaries sent by the club. First they contacted me, then disappeared from Tuesday to Saturday only to reappear when they discovered Porto were interested.
“It is intolerable. They were not Inter directors, though. It was never an issue of money and my son could’ve played alongside Geoffrey Kondogbia in midfield.
“Inter knew what to do, but the intermediaries were terrible and came back only after it was too late. I love Italian football and we knew Inter wanted to make a great team, so that’s why we wanted to go there.”
Ndangi also stated he never spoke to Coach Roberto Mancini and denied reports Imbula was sent to Porto by the Doyen Sports agency.
