Genoa have announced the signing of Diogo Figueiras from Sevilla on loan with the option to buy.
The Portuguese right-back was a part of the team that won back-to-back Europa League titles over the last two seasons.
The Grifone announced the acquisition of the 24-year-old on their official Twitter account this morning.
“Genoa FC has concluded the temporary acquisition, with the option of a permanent deal, of Diogo Figueiras,” read the message.
Figueiras made 24 league appearances for Sevilla last season, scoring one goal, and is a product of the Benfica youth system.
