New Inter signing Joao Miranda claims the Nerazzurri want to ‘break the dominance of Juventus’ in the upcoming season.
The Brazilian centre-back has joined the club from Atletico Madrid, and insists he’s arrived at one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I don’t see Inter as second-best compared to other clubs who wanted me,” Miranda said in an interview with Perform Group.
“I don’t see this move as a risk, but as a personal challenge. We’re working very hard to get back to being a top European club.
“My teammates and I want to break the dominance of Juventus in Italy. Next season will be a challenge, and we want to repay the trust the club has shown in us.
“Inter will once again be the great club that it always has been.”
