Borussia Dortmund see Adem Ljajic as the ideal replacement for Ciro Immobile, who is heading to Sevilla.
It was reported that Spanish side Sevilla had agreed to pick up Italy international Immobile for €12m.
According to Il Messaggero newspaper, BVB have already chosen the striker to take his place.
Ljajic has been on the outskirts of the Roma squad recently and pressure to sign Edin Dzeko from Manchester City leaves even less room.
In fact, Ljajic had been linked with a move to Manchester City as part of the Dzeko deal.
The young Serbian has caught Dortmund’s eye and it’s suggested agent Fali Ramadani met with Roma director Walter Sabatini to discuss the situation this week.
Last term the 23-year-old scored nine goals in 41 competitive games for the Giallorossi.
