Sampdoria are reportedly lining up a move for Milan forward Alessandro Matri should Stefano Okaka leave the Blucerchiati.

It was reported in the last two days that Italy international Okaka had rejected all offers he had received, but that club President Massimo Ferrero “can’t wait” to see him leave.

Tuttomercatoweb has reported today that Rossoneri striker Matri is top of the Marassi side’s wish-list should Okaka go.               

The 30-year-old spent last season on loan at Genoa and Juventus, scoring seven league goals, and has a contract running until 2017.
