Napoli finally seem set to sign Allan from Udinese in exchange for cash and Duvan Zapata, plus Miguel Angel Britos to Watford.
The clubs have been in negotiations for weeks, but a deal did not go through as other players involved in exchanges could not agree terms.
These included Duvan Zapata, Gokhan Inler and Britos – as the latter two would be sent on loan to Watford.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Sport Mediaset, they have at last reached an agreement.
Inler rejected the Watford move, but Uruguayan defender Britos is ready to agree personal terms with the newly-promoted Premier League club.
Duvan Zapata will join Udinese in a two-year loan deal with option and counter-option.
Because Inler pulled out, the cash sum will now be €13m.
Many clubs were interested in Allan, as the 24-year-old was hugely impressive last season for Udinese, also scoring two goals and providing six assists in 38 competitive games.
