Last month’s Euro 2016 qualifying fixture was marred by the appearance of the far-right symbol on the pitch, with the FIGC complaining to UEFA.

The Croatian Prime Minister has urged European football’s governing body not to throw his country out of the competition, and a decision was expected today.

However, ANSA reports that “organisational reasons” mean a verdict on Croatia’s fate has been delayed by a week until July 23.

The game was already being played behind closed doors after violent and racist actions from Croatian fans in previous games.
