Mohamed Salah has reportedly accepted a move to Roma, who must now negotiate with Chelsea.
It was reported yesterday that the winger’s agent, Ramy Abbas, was in Rome to meet with the Giallorossi, with the player keen to return to Serie A, despite rejecting Fiorentina.
Now SportMediaset reports that a deal has been reached with the player, who is happy to join the Lupi.
The club will now have to negotiate with Chelsea, which could prove to be more difficult.
Mediaset believes the English side are asking for a fee of €23m for the Egyptian international, while Roma are seeking a loan with the option to buy.
It’s thought Chelsea may accept an initial loan, but would insist on a mandatory redemption clause next summer, to ensure they receive a fee for the player.
