Former Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari has signed a two-year contract with Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad.

The Ghanaian midfielder’s contract with the Rossoneri was cancelled last month following his request not to be selected for any matches since April.

The move was confirmed by the Saudi club on their official website, with the Ghanaian FA also posting a picture of Muntari with his Al Ittihad kit, and announcing a two-year deal.

The 30-year-old made 70 appearances for the Diavolo in four seasons, scoring 11 goals.

His new club finished fourth in the Suadi League last season, with Al Nassr winning the competition.
