Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic says his teammates must be ‘more ruthless’ following a friendly defeat to Real Madrid.
The Nerazzurri were beaten 3-0 by Los Merengues in Guangzhou, with the Slovenian international pulling off a number of fine saves.
However, the Beneamata had chances of their own, and it’s a failure to put them away which frustrates Handanovic.
“My job is to make saves, and to let in as few as possible,” the ‘keeper said after the match.
“We have to become more ruthless. They’re better than us, but we didn’t show our strengths. We had our chances.
“This tour has allowed us to compete with stronger teams, so we can see what we’re missing and continue to improve.
“We’ve been doing double training sessions, we’ve trained well, but now we have to grow and start winning some games.”
