Inter defender Juan Jesus admits the Nerazzurri must improve ‘so we can challenge Juventus’.
The Beneamata lost their third friendly in a row earlier today, going down 3-0 to Real Madrid in Guangzhou, but the centre-back sees reason for optimism.
“There are no sides of the calibre of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the Italian league,” Juan Jesus explained, addressing the assembled media after the final whistle.
“We need to be more alert and realise that we can go toe-to-toe with anyone. Now we head back to Italy to prepare for the start of Serie A as best we can.
