Schalke 04 have reportedly told Juventus they must complete a deal for Julian Draxler by Sunday, or not at all.
The Bianconeri have had an initial offer for the German international rejected, but are still believed to be keen to bring the 21-year-old to Turin, and have a deal with the player.
According to Calciomercato and TuttoJuve, the Bundesliga side have set a deadline of Sunday for another offer, as they will not consider any bids after that day.
The purported reason is that the club’s open day is on Sunday, and Die Königsblauen do not wish to present one of their star men to the fans, only to have him leave.
Juventus are in no rush to complete the transfer, but may have their hand forced by Schalke, who wish to know as soon as possible whether they will have Draxler for next season.
