Dortmund in for Shaqiri?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to rival Schalke 04 for Inter’s Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Nerazzurri must sell the winger in order to free up funds to get Wolfsburg’s Ivan Perisic, and are believed to have agreed a fee with Schalke.

However, Die Königsblauen must in turn get Kevin-Prince Boateng off the wage bill before committing to Shaqiri.

Sky reports that this uncertainty has opened the door for Borussia Dortmund, who have made an enquiry about the player.

Dortmund are looking to reinforce their forward line, with Italian international Ciro Immobile having been sold after a poor debut season.
