It’s reported Mattia Destro’s move to Bologna has finally been agreed, as he’s left out of Roma’s squad for the Sevilla match.
The striker spent the second half of last season on loan at Milan, but the Rossoneri decided not to make his move permanent.
The Italian international has been in talks with the Rossoblu for some time, but the move has been delayed by discussions over bonuses.
However, after Destro was left out of Roma’s squad for tonight’s friendly with Europa League winners Sevilla, which you can watch live on Football Italia, Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a deal is done.
The Giallorossi are presenting their players for the forthcoming campaign before kick-off, and the sports daily reports Destro’s exclusion is because he’s moving to Bologna.
Gazzetta states the forward will move on a €1m loan, with a mandatory redemption clause of €9m inserted into the deal.
Destro is thought to have agreed a four-year contract worth €1.5m per season with the newly-promoted side.
