Now The Guardian is reporting that Cole’s Giallorossi contract has been terminated, leaving him free to seek a new club.

The left-back arrived in Serie A last summer after leaving Chelsea, but struggled to settle in Italy, making just 11 appearances in the League, and attracting criticism for his performances.

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Lucas Digne is expected to arrive at some point next week, making Cole surplus to requirements.
