Despite interest from Everton, Southampton and Norwich, Kalidou Koulibaly “has no intention of leaving Napoli.”

The defender has repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League this month with offers in the region of £8.5m (€12m).

“He has not changed his mind, nor have there been any other developments over the last 15 days,” agent Bruno Satin told Tuttomercatoweb today.

“There are many rumours flying around, but Bruno wants to stay at Napoli. The lad has no intention of leaving Napoli and he will continue to be a Napoli player.

“I read the English papers too and they can write whatever they want, but there is absolutely no chance. His contract is not running down, he is a Napoli player with a long-term deal and has no reason to leave.”

The tall centre-back, nicknamed K2, only just turned 24 and arrived at the Stadio San Paolo from KRC Genk for €7m last summer.
